ToMB2: More models finished

The ToMB2 Continues...

Not a huge post here as it's just an update buuuuut, as I said in my previous post I have continued on with my ToMB2 progress, this time finishing off my Zombie Chihuahua and Canine Remains.

Apologies for the blurry front image.

More paint has also been added to the Rogue Neromancy, who I think will be the next completed model. The nurses also got a couple more base colours added to them, one has blue stockings, the other has red, just to make them stand out from each other a little bit more, I may do similar things with their hair.

Another thing I did today was paint all of my bases black, even though I'll probably have to touch them up again after finishing the models it just helps me feel there isn't as much to do. It must be a mental thing but they just feel more complete... Anybody else have this?

#ToMB2: The Doctors In The House!

Tale of Malifaux Bloggers: Season 2

And so it begins,  Ben Sime has kicked off another season of Tale of Malifaux Bloggers (ToMB) and this time I have decided to join in!

So who has Oz chosen?
Well I actually had a choice of 2 Masters, and they were Zoraida and McMourning. I ended up going with the later mainly because I'd actually already started to paint the Zoraida boxset and it seems only fair that I start from scratch with a completely unpainted set.

I had actually purchased the McMourning for a club ToMB that I never ended up taking part in, so this offers a great opportunity to finally get it finished, and maybe even get some games in with the Doctor himself.

As there is £40 available to spend on this first month the McM boxset will be joined by a Rogue Necromancy which takes the total number of models to be painted up to 8.

This months models ready to be painted.

You've started painting already???
Yes! Today the family had gone off to party and left me on my lonesome so whilst I had some quiet time a start was to be made. Now there wasn't much done but I have got some colour on all of the models except for the Zombie Chihuahua, this was purely because I made a start on the Flesh Construct and then just kept going until he was finished. So that's 1 model down, 7 to go!

Here is my finished Flesh Construct, I attempted a technique that James Reeves uses.

I should image in my next painting session I will get the Canine Remains and Zombie Chihuahua finished off and then start putting some more colour on the others. I'm a little apprehensive of painting the Rogue Necromancy but decided on painting the body one colour and then doing each head with different colours.

Well that's it for my first post, hopefully there will be another to follow soon!
